What I liked about Tim Downs' book was that it was culturally wise and sensitive, dialogical without be presumptious or preachy, humble and authentic. It engaged culture in ways that provoked conversation and partnership. It was a great example of an offense, as opposed to a defense, of the faith, if you know what I mean.
