Carl Hofmann...is a cyclist, a husband, a father, a pastor, a brother, a son, a rabid coffee connoisseur--and not in that order! But most of all, Carl Hofmann is a beloved child of God, adopted in Jesus Christ, loved and fully accepted--an identity Carl continues to ponder with amazement!
Carl finds energy living "at the crossroads" of life: the crossroads of the serious and the silly (ask him about his taste in comedies), of theology and practical application, of head and heart, of physical exertion and mental stimulation.
Carl serves the First Presbyterian Church of Boulder, Colorado as Associate Pastor for Spiritual Formation and Discipleship. That means he gets to apply his heart and mind, energy and time, to helping people be transformed by relationship with Jesus Christ. He's still trying to figure out exactly what that means--for himself and others.
Given a free day, Carl would love to ride his road bike with friends, stop at a cafe for a barista's hand-made cappuccino, and then join his family for a home-cooked meal, which he would help make.
